SMS Modem: SMPP Settings
The Short Message Peer to Peer(SMPP) protocol is an open, industry standard protocol designed to provide a flexible data communications interface for transfer of short message data between a Message Center, such as Short Message Service Centre (SMSC), GSM Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) Server or other type of Message Center and a SMS application system, such as a WAP Proxy Server, Email gateway or other Messaging Gateway.
Ejoin SMS gateway support both SMPP server and client mode.

Items | Description |
SMPP | Client mode: it means the device will registered in the SMPP server. Server mode: it means the device will create account and password for a SMS server, the SMS server will registered in device. |
port | When select server mode, it will show port, this is the SMPP server listening port. |
Forward SMS | If enabled, when the device receive a SMS, it will forward this SMS to the registered SMS server. |
SMS report | If enabled, the device will send report to the registered server about the SMS sent failed or successful |
SMS Report Msg Type | The report message type: Deliver_SM or Data_SM |
Auto Clip Routing | For example, when send a SMS to the gateway, the receiver number is +86137153XXXXX, and it send from port 2, next time, one more SMS sent to the number +86137152XXXXX, it will still send from port 2. The maximum cache of receiver number is 10000 |
Cache time | Cache time of auto clip routing |
On the page below, you can create account and password for a SMS server, and the SMS server will registered in this device. and it can create SMPP group, for example, port 1-8 can be a group and create one SMPP account; port 9-16 can also be a group and create another SMPP account.
